Get to know how LTTR/INK's user interface works. This article will walk you through the UI elements in the Adobe Illustrator app step by step.
The plugin is controlled by the LTTR/INK panel and the tool.
The panel can be opened by going to “Window → Extensions”.
The Control Panel allows to:
- Create LTTR/INK Outline (the “LTTR/INK” logo button)
- Dispose of it (the “LTTR/INK” logo button)
- Expand stroke.
- Edit selected Nib values.
- Create and edit stroke styles.
Manipulate with strokes on the canvas.
To manipulate Nib dimensions you need to open LTTR/INK Tool. We prefer to keep the LTTR/INK Tool available in the Toolbar.
- Click on the three dots in the toolbar.
- In the window, scroll down and find LTTR/INK icon.
- Find the icon in the extended toolbar panel.
- Click and hold the icon and drag it to the Toolbar.
Now you can manipulate nib dimensions directly on the canvas.
- Click on the icon to activate the tool.
- You’ll see the ellipses display along the path.
- Click and drag to transform the ellipses.
