About LTTR/SHOP

LTTR/SHOP It is a SaaS (Software as a Service). Hence you don’t care about servers, updates – similar to Shopify.

How it works

• It’s a full shop. You just need to provide some accounts to us (for example, of a payment provider) and have a presentation website showcasing your fonts.
• You set up the content for checkout and font tester through our web admin interface – there is no screenshot of the admin on our website.

What are the features

• Checkout is a generated set of web pages hosted on our servers but displayed under your domain, e.g. http://shop.cape-arcona.com/
• Font tester is a generated piece of script hosted on our servers which you’ll include directly in your website HTML anywhere.
• We are considering building a classic “shopping cart”, but for now, we don’t see a meaningful use case. Font purchasing habits are different from regular shopping.

How does the connection with our domain work

• You’ll set up a CNAME record through your domain name registrar.
• E-mails are sent using SMTP credentials you provide to use through the shop admin, so you set up the MX record (and update your SPF records if needed) as required by your e-mail provider.
